Big in China are hash and ketamine (mostly because it looks like cocaine). The richer would go for the real thing, being cocaine. And I've seen one foreigner hissing at people walking by because some of this Chinese buddies gave him meth.

I was going to say IV antibiotics but you mean those kinds of drugs.... hahahaha....

I honestly don't know because A.) I never touch any of that crap and B.) Even if I did, I would be way too worried about it being fake here.

I constantly get asked by people on the street if I want hashish though, so I'd assume that's pretty common like DaBen said.

I just thank whatever power that there aren't Krokodil junkies here. Do yourself a favor and DON'T Google image search that.

TedDBayer:

thats a morphine type drug, I've used morphine for pain, I never understood drug addictions. There is a percentage of a population that is prone to be addicts. In NA after the 30s when drugs became illegal, they thought the addictions would stop, but even tho the supply was shortened, the percentage of addicts remains.

The government might target the illegal ones but Nicotine and antibiotic overuse are the ones that will give them the biggest problems down the track.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
