Ok, so I'm in a bad situation here, Really could use some advice and insights.
My girlfriend ( Now Ex-Girlfriend) had just broke up today, and he decided to kick me out onto the streets of Beijing. I don't have money, friends or relatives here. I didn't have much of a choice but to leave, because she threaten to call the police, and that's last thing someone like me needs, is police attention. I've visited the U.S. Embassy on twice and they chose to repatriate me, but I lost my nerve after she asked me to stay try and work things. Now that I've worn out my welcome with the embassy they said they could not help if it happens again.
So. Now after another arguement, once again she kicked me out and wondering if there are any resources I can tap into that'll help me with food and shelter and hopefully....a flight back to the U.S.
All advice will be appreciated
If you're American and therefore an English speaker, why are you referring to your girlfriend with a masculine pronoun? Is she one of those 'special' Thai girls?
GuilinRaf:
Good catch "Inspector Miss A"!
I think we have a "serial anonymous compulsive liar" roaming the site recently, posting silly and inane questions.
Pogger also brings up a good point re: sugar momma (or daddy! Said "he"). Unless "Annus Mus" was indeed a kept person, there should be some form of employment or student status that would protect him.
Also, I know that the US embassy will not repatriate a Citizen back to the U.S. for free. They will charge.
MissA:
GR, my guess is the bit about the embassy is the real point here, to make the US look bad. At first I wondered why a Chinese person would ask this question which seems to make a Chinese person look bad. Then I realised that the embassy actually cops a worse deal out of this idiotic story. He's suggesting that the embassy staff can choose to return US citizens in trouble back home if they so choose, but, by caprice, the staff choose not to. What a load of utter bollocks!
GuilinRaf:
We had a case in guilin where this guy from the States was basically homeless and had not money to return to the US. The Embassy said they could help him BUT he would be charged for the ailine ticket.
So he begged in the streets for about two weeks. You would see him next to the mall with a sigh in Chinese and English saying he wanted to go home.
Then, one day, he was gone....
crimochina:
really some nitwit is going to make this BS post because of the "sightless" "guy" what a petty pathetic country.
HugAPanda:
Aww.. I saw the first HE, but the rest were all she's so I assumed maybe he had that long pinky nail thing working and missed the S. I hit letters all the time with my nails, and miss them completely sometimes. Maybe he just needs a nail clipper.
(Like how I give the benefit of the doubt when I am in dire need of sleep. LOL)
MissA:
Yep, hugs, typos happen (I make 'em all the time) but there's more than just one pronoun wrong with this one. Besides, I got to make a ladyboy joke, I couldn't refuse!
Ok, my advice and insight:
Write a book based on this premise and then negotiate the movie rights. Then, with the royalties you will be paid you can fly back home First Class.
HugAPanda:
That's one plot that's been overdone, and would have a hard time selling even at the dollar store. :)
I have the solution for food and shelter.
Punch a cop in the face. It might cause you some bruises and broken bones, a little blood even.. but you'll get food and shelter.
Get a job. That will get you shelter, and money, which you can use to buy food and eventually a ticket home.
GuilinRaf:
I understand that in New Zealand an "working girl" is a prostitute. So, my question is: if he is a "kept man" for a local girl, does that give him a working visa?
Jnusb416:
She probably kicked him out because he's a lazy Son of a b. I mean, no money, no friends? What has he been doing? Sitting around watching TV all day?
Shining_brow:
He sounds Chinese to me....
Jnus, if the got a job and money, he could afford a new gf! :p
GuilinRaf:
He is indeed Chinese! The male pronoun for a female is a dead givaway!
I am just having fun with this.
Does this make me a "reverse troll"?
MissA:
Jnus, I don't know about the Kiwis, but, in Oz, 'working girl' is definitely a euphemism for a prostitute.
Okayokayokay, serious answer.
1- BEG her, on your knees to take you back. Buy or steal an I-Pad if necessary. Kiss her feet. Also, if you cry a little that may help. bawling too.
2- IF she takes you back, then OBEY her each and every word. Instantly. Do not disagree with her ever again. Obey with a cheerful expression and instantly. No delay and no pouty face. Stop pissing her off and she will not have to kick your sorry tail into the street.
3-If that is no good, do what many young people do: sleep in an internet bar or a KFC. They are oftentimes open 24 hours a day. If you do sleep at KFC you can get free food rummaging in the garbage.
Do know that calling the police in this case may actually be useful! Often times, they will try to mediate the domestic dispute. Not only does this enhance "harmony" it also involves less paper work than a pesky arrest would involve. So, unless you are in the country illegally, which I doubt since you would have been caught at the Embassy by the local police, or are dealing drugs, or wanted for some other crime there is nothing for you to fear (so I really do not understand your "last thing someone like me needs is police attention").
However, I seriously doubt the veracity of fantastic stories posted annonymously.
Thanks for the fun!
Another in the long line of bullsh*t posts. Grammar and pronoun errors are a dead giveaway.
To be ignored in my opinion.
Don't make the same mistake twice. Oops! Looks like you made the mistake once just don't do it again!!
I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!
This guy is RYAN123!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only, he did not go to the US Embassy, that is just an attempt to throw us off!!!!!
Sell your computer. You'd solve two problems
A: You'd have money for food and shelter
B: Less time to post BS on here (Solving one of our problems)
You already loaded your gun, I don't like to here these things but I also don't pity any foreigner who sets themself up for complete failure. I hope it works out for you. And I'll say it again, always keep 50k in your account
This post is a big lie, fiction! Why do some people waste their time faking issues? I would rather spend an hour drinking with a KTV girl than spend 5 minutes creating such a silly post!
GuilinRaf:
That gives you an idea just how miserable these guys are. So, when I see this kind of post, I like to tap into my "inner Troll".
And you CAN find some fairly priced KTV's.
