Q: when will Chinese protest come to an end ?
Well, they have been pissed at Vietnam, then the Philippines, now Japan. Guess it will blow over when it is Malaysia's turn...
when the Chinese government will say so.
Do you really believe that all protests have been the fruit of some people so interested about these islands? You are living in a communist country, with an overwhelming communist party that affects each branch of the society.
Chinese are taught at school about hating Japanese because of WWII.
There are things playing beyond the curtain that none of us knows the final plan, but for which stupid Chinese puppets can be used for this plan as they are often nationalist, jobless and protected at some point.
Would it have been the kind of protest you have in various European countries regarding the movie on Mohammed and Islam, Chinese authorities would have been there immediately.

its not about interests,its about our land,which we love,although i think people should be more rational instead of hurt those innocent japanese ,i have japanese friends and they are really polite and nice,the history is history ,it has nothing to do with this generation,but your attitude is really pissed me off. surely,some of chinese been overreacted and inappropriate,but it doesnt make you have rights to say "stupid chinese" ,if you think chinese are stupid,then where you think the japanese language from? and if we really want a war,im afraid japan is already a province of china. the peace of the whole world is the theme nowadays.just cos some terrist call theirself musillim,it doesnt make all musillim are bad people,same logical,the communist in history did some harm to people,it doesnt make we are threaten,if you feel threatened,then work harder,as we do.besides,i cant ensure all the people,but personally,i dont hate japanese,i respect them cos this nation is keep learning from the best,they learnt from china at thousands years ago,they learnt from USA after second world war,meanwhile they keeping some own traditions.but being a chinese,if anyone dare to occupy my motherland again,then i will fight until i die.
After all the foreign companies leave, the economy is in shambles and civil war breaks out.

Give it another week or so it is all drumming up pride for the national holidays followed by the leadership handover to get all the people on side with the gov.

same in every country just more obvious in China
it will be over as soon as japan hand the islands over to China trough peaceful negotiations, China will never leave this case just open like that, its like telling them to forget Taiwan which they will never feel complete until they have Taiwan as part of China but applying the same principle of Hong-Kong and Macaw that is one country two systems.
japan invaded Chinese Territories killing,raping and torturing their people for long,nanjing even has a museum for that where more than 300.000 people died in the hands of the Japanese only in Nanjing city, others such has hunnan and some other cities were also victims of such murders and china will never forget that so for such reasons they will never permit japan to invade their lands or territories anymore
that is just why they cannot leave that matter that simple

We also have museum of historical wars with germany or even earlies, when we was part of austria-hungary ( dont know the english term of it) and even before Franz Ferdinand d'Este time, when we have been part over half of Europe. Shall we call back for what was lost during war ?
