Wanting to get my hands on some imported Japanese beer, but have had no luck on my recent searches around the city. Anyone have any idea specifically where to go? Especially looking for beer such as Sapporo and Yebisu, but would settle for imported Kirin (not locally produced).
If you are in Beijing a Japanese supermarket is at the bottom of Shi Mao Department store in Sanlitun, has Kirin, Asahi, Sapporo, and Suntory beers. Yebisu I have only seen in Japan not anywhere else.

Thanks mate, will check when I am in Beijing sometime. Still hoping for a Shanghai located source though.
G'day enemy,
Yeah, it's not easy finding certain spirits and alcohol here. My best advice is to be on the lookout for the little shops that I've seen that are stocked with different kinds of alcohol. I'm not sure if they are privately owned or state-owned businesses. I've been looking for Bailey's Irish Creme or the like with no luck. :(
Good luck!
