The Book Nook (Creative 100 Industry Park, Suite #22, 100 Nanjing Lu) has a great mix of new english fiction and nonfiction. It also has a really good chill ambience and they organise film nights, book clubs ,and english corners. Book City also offers a good selection of Chinese language learning textbooks for english speakers.

You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
