Q: Where's the best Halloween party in Shanghai at this year?

It'll be my first Halloween in Shanghai so not sure if there is the Shanghai equivalent of Yen Fetish party here.

The Rock Tribute Party at Live Mao House sounds like fun. The Fever Machine, X is Y, Moon Tyrant, Friend or Foe and many more Shanghai bands will be rocking it out. Its on October 29th.

The Boxing Cat Brewery's Halloween/one year anniversary sounds great too. 150 kuai for all you can drink microbrews and wine! If I do go out in Shanghai, it'll be hard trying decide between these two.

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
