Q: Who'd win in a fight between Monkey and Yoda?
Seems pretty certain that the very real Chuck Norris would kick Jackie Chan's ass. What about these two greats from fiction?
The monkey king would win....but it would be a good fight.
No contest - Monkey! Mostly cos in the Chinese myths, he's basically immortal, whereas Yoda is just very very talented and wise. It would, of course, be a very long fight - there's no way that Monkey would be able to hit Yoda with 99% of his attacks, but in the end, that immortality would win out.
Now, if Monkey wasn't immortal, Yoda would kick his butt in seconds! (also, remember the staff Monkey weilds - wasn't it unbreakable? If so, the lightsabre won't damage it. If, OTOH, it could be cut through... again - Yoda wins!)
Alright someone, please bring me up to speed. Who or what is Yoda and who or what is the Monkey in this context? I am clueless and your answers are truly appreciated, and for your information, this reply doesn't generate any points for me.

Monkey - Sun Wu Kong from Journey to the West. Basically, a demi-god. Yoda - head of the Jedi Order, master to both Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi - from the Star Wars series. Mastered the use of the Force centuries ago. Btw, google is your friend!
There wouldn't be a winner. With Yoda's ability to dodge the Monkey King's attacks and his control of emotions, the Monkey King would become bored of the fight and leave to find something more entertaining. Yoda, being one with the force, would understand the Monkey is immortal and therefore would know better than to try and pursue the fight any further. Therefore the two masters would just part ways.

Shining, to have Monkey join the Dark Side kinda changes the whole character of Monkey. You might as well suggest Yoda joined the Dark Side. I can suspend disbelief enough for a fight to begin (Yoda being a Jedi peacekeeper that happens apon Monkey's prank gone too far), but without completely changing one of the two character, I can't actually picture them fighting to the end.
