Most of those talk shows in the states including Jerry Springer is all fake! Those people that they have up their fighting they get paid a little bit to perform. I know this because there was a girl that wanted to do it and they were willing to pay her something for her to I guess be the guest clown on the show.

I doubt they will have anything like that although it is kind of educational since they have the thought or lesson learned at the end of the day/show.

i meant that the show when watched by people in  bum F*** nowhere might make that type of crazy look normal in the U.S. so would china let anyone make a show that makes there people look like nutjobs.

I don't find shows like Springer insulting at all because they are participated in and watched by people who are willing to cop the ridicule for whatever reason and are viewed as total BS by anyone with a decently functioning brain.

What I do find insulting are programs that in the main are positioned in a way that they are portraying truth when they are in reality pushing a certain doctrine and telling lies or at best half truths. China as well as most countries already have their fair share of those.

I meant it makes people from the U.S look crazy, so would china let someone make a show that makes their people look crazy. but i get your point.

I get what you mean now. My answer to that is no they would certainly not let a show be made that showed their people in a bad light to others. I wonder if people from other countries think that Springer is real?

Yesterday I let a student watch Donald Trump's "The Apprentice". She was appalled that the celebrities would openly argue with each other. I asked her if this would fly in China. She replied, "Why would they want to lose face?"

I give up.

No, there will never be a TV show that shows China or Chinese people in a bad light.  They even remove bad performances from "China's Got Talent" so they won't "embarrass the nation".  Never going to happen here.

I wish they wouldn't show programs like that anywhere

You have got to be desperate for a tv fix to watch them in the first place.

that being said  what does it say about Americans in general

do you all live in trailer parks and have no branches in your family tree?

We also have programs that are just crap and that is  not counting the current affairs shows on a slow news week

and they call it prime time viewing.

I know we go at it here sometimes but if the Cat had to administrate a show like that he would have Kittens
