Q: would you pay $10/ 65rmb for a piece of cheese?

just saw a new item at my local store.... cheese,,,, not the processed slices that I really have tried to avoid. real brick/block of cheese ... forget but guessing maybe, i HAVE NO IDEA... 3-400grams? it was small and it was 65rmb.......some gouda thing or swiss like.

Honestly, my heart is always bleeding, but ...

There is no other way ...

I usually once a week ake for myself my 'home country party' and then I spend about 20-25 RMB for bread, 20-25 RMB for salami and 60-80 RMB for really 'good' (in Chinese scale) cheese.

I still find it worthy

When I can't get butter, then I go heavy on cheese if it's available, and it doesn't matter how much it cost.

65 rambos for Gouda or Ementaller, 200g-250g the most.

Depending on how available cheese was where I lived and how long it had been since I last saw it, yeah I might. I like cheese.

Luckily I don't need to. I bought a block of mozzarella today for about 35 RMB.
