Q: How long is everyones spring festival vacation?
I'm just a little curious to know how long everyone's spring festival vacation is? Mine begins on the 7 th of Feb. until the 25 th of Feb. You?

No. But, I do have a winter English Camp lined up for 4 weeks of that time. I only teach 18 days of that time and I get everything paid for. I get a vacation stipend for the 7 weeks I am off work too. So, not too bad I think. I get to teach in a different envirnoment with different kids in a camp stlye setting. I love teaching camps. It is much more fun and free to develop interesting lesson plans and activities.

I get a stipend for the holiday. And, I have a 4 week English camp arranged. It is nice to teach in a different envonment and different kids. Plus, I love teaching camps that geve me freedom to do lesson planning and other activities. I think it is a good arrangement. Basically, I will travel for 2 weeks, rest one week, and work the other 4 weeks at soething i live to do. The camp pays for everything I need. And, I will only be teaching 18 days of the 4 weeks.
my wife finished work at the local university on Feb. 19 and is not going back to work until tFeb. 24 ...... 6 weeks off +/-........lazy chinamen/women in my opinion...6 weeks off around Feb and again in August........ 14-16-18 hours a day and then expect to rejuvenate during a couple month long holidays .....unpaid holidays to boot........ hmmm.... I think I have a better way of "using" a person than this.....
the advent of the "smart phone" ... I was employed, working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm... it varied but these were normal and agreed. when they started calling me constantly at or around 5pm, 7 pm or 3am, 4am .... I decided work had become my life...instead of the obvious...not so obvious maybe...... but I prefer to live my life separate from my work. ..
24 hours a day of messaging and smart phone calling drove me out of the workforce....... but, go ahead, call me sometime..... aged old man with significant experience in dealing with "big shots" that think they can run your life. .. P.S. they did run me out of the country ............... and I am so happy for it!!
My last class before vacation was on December 18th and I'm back on March 9th.
I only get one week off.Shit

January 30th - February 28th, fully paid as per my contract. Our Foshan office is full of useless wankers who got there through their guanxi with the manager (just like every other offices in China in fact), still asked them recently about the dates (that I know thanks to the HK head office, just to confirm), they didn't let me know, they will probably try to screw me and the FTs over the pay or the length of holidays while themselves will be away on vacations, might give a call to the big boss in HK if that happens.
Two weeks for me. But I will try to work some of it to save holiday for later on.
Unfortunately, the non office staff where I work are getting a 3 week holiday. The extra week is unpaid.
All thanks to the sanctions against Russia. Five hundred factory workers going short because of politics on the other side of the world.
Too long...
Minimum of four years of Holiday for me. Leaving China before spring festival on 29th Jan and completely out of China on 30th (from Beijing). After 4 years, I may have few more spring festivals and short holidays.
I haven't worked since the end of December and won't be working again until the start of March. "You do the math(s)"
