Q: How many dead people have you seen in China?
Me: 3. The first one on the second day. Poor lady all tangled up in her bicycle after a hit and run.

It depends. Do you mean really dead or just dead inside? If the latter then millions.
I've seen the aftermath of a fatal motorbike crash, and another couple that might have been fatalities, I don't know.
Then there are all the oblivious zombies who lurch randomly around in crowded places, stand in doorways so people can't get past and charge into elevators without letting the people inside get out first.
I see them all the time.
If we're including the people who take dead relatives out onto the street and pray/beg next to the body, then hundreds.
Only seen one fatal accident. A motorbike rider with his brains all over street, was highly unpleasant.

I see many that I could not tell whether they are dead or alive. Most of them might as well be dead for what they contribute.
If I factor in all the students I have faced on a regular basis these past six years I would plumb for a rounded up figure of 3,000 definitely dead, but should include another 4 or 5,000 who are/were seriously brain damaged and staring at an early death themselves unless they come across a miracle.
And then there was the time that I ran out of luck myself..

What gives me the shivers are the people in the countryside who buy their own coffin and store it in their house. I have been in a lot of houses in Hunan where they do this. It really gives me the hebbie jebbies.
My experience with dead bodies is very limited, butT... I knew a person, who worked in a morgue as 'body burial prep specialist'. He was washing and re-dressing the bodies and such ....
He told me, he and his buddy worked 'night shifts', only! 'better pay', I guess....
Granted, they were both a bit strange....
After they finished their shift in the mornings, they always meet in the morgue's cafeteria for coffee and doughnuts.....and some chat:
Aldo: 'I had all old bodies last night. Nothing fresher than 65 years old and up. What happened to the world?
What about you Hank, how was in your shift?'
Hank: 'I had one around 25-years old last night. Body was still warm at her arrival to my office. Nice, small, firm tities. Her clitoris was like a pickle....'
Aldo: 'Woow, so big...????'
Hank: 'Nooo ... you maniac, so sour....
I've seen 3 personally. 2 dead in laws at funerals and a dead body on the side of a country road. I have seen large pools of blood and broken glass on the motorways here about 40% of the times I have used them.
Only 1 I think, at the hospital some old lady suffered cardiac arrest and died.
I have seen 2 dead people,a little girl that got hit by a truck.and my ex Chinese wife father died and I had to help get the body ready for the cremation.
I watched him die in the hospital.
getting the body ready for the cremation was strange.I had to help put on special clothes.help clean the body.
