we found a new teacher from turkey in the middle of July , then he started work in our school . so he should work 10 days in total in July . but he didnot go to work for 3 days without telling school , and had around 5 days late (start work from 8.30 he came at 10.00) . then yesterday he come to our office ask his salary urgently , he said he need pay rent .
then we pay him . then today we can not find him , what should we do?
The HR person/staff member in your school should know how to deal with this.
If this teacher was hired legitimately and has the correct 'Z' Visa / RP and a signed contract, and is in breach of this contract, you should have procedures in place to deal with this happening.
If the teacher is hired illegally by your school, your school is partly to blame:
1) not hiring according to the law
2) hiring an irresponsible teacher and not having a process in place to deal with absent employees.
If you hired illegally and the teacher is gone with your money - there might not be much you can do.

If you and him signed a contract, and if he is lawfully employed (he have a Z visa for working with you), just contact the police or SAFEA, your teacher breached his contract...
If he had no contract, or if he is illegally employed (no Z visa, or a Z visa but not for the job he was supposed to do for you), then, just forget about it, and next time, employ people legally
As it looks, you hired him on wrong visa. You cannot do much, because if you go to SAFEA or PSB, they'll blame School for the matter (wrong visa). You should tell us FT's visa for detailed advice.
If FT works with wrong visa, School can do anything to FT (late or no salary, extra classes, and so on), and it is the same in reverse.
However, I contacted SAFEA while working with F, and they helped me to get last pay, and put things in order. I explained to SAFEA, that agency handled my visa, and I just supplied my passport. Apparently, they stopped issuing FECertificates to the employment agency.

I'm not sure, what SAFEA will say, if Turk 'worked' with wrong visa.
i dont believe a chinese school paid a salary on time because of rent, most schools pay 10 days after the month is over and if your lucky the last day of the month, unless this school is run by sympathetic foreigners with a silent chinese partner, i would find this story to be complete BS.

I am inclined to agree. Why would anyone firstly, employ a turkish person to teach english (sure, they may be a desperado outfit) or pay someone for that sort of work commitment? Particularly in China. Implausible!

Sounds like he is illegal. So there is nothing you can do. Forget the contract, it is worthless. If he was hired by a recruiter you better use your contacts to prevent you from being arrested. Last I heard Chairman Xi wants to get rid of corruption.
hahaha, he is probably not on a Z-visa, thus you can't do anything, you can't even cancel his visa without his passport, if you contact the SAFEA you are shooting yourself in the foot, and the school with it hahaha before hiring foreigners for quick money from dumb parents who think that their kids will immediately become fluent in English because they have a foreign teacher you should have done all the legal process to be able to process Z-visas hahaha
I myself teach German and my school can't process Z-visas, no problems my buddy is a visa agent and got me one RP for a fair price that's not tied to the school, I can do whatever I want, if the school tries to fire me or exploit me I will simply call the SAFEA telling that there are 20-something foreigners on F-visas working illegally over there, including the foreign manager since more than 5 years, and they will be screwed big time because if they would have good relations they would be allowed to process Z-visas hahaha

I think, authorization to hire FT cost a ton of money, so some school hire FTs with F.
I was hired by School in Taizhou, Jiangsu, in last May. I had valid RPermit, which should be extended. Because School wasn't/isn't authorized to hire FT, they just burn my RP.
I had to find new School, which applied for new WPermit, and (lucky me) HK Z pick-up. I was facing return home (EU) for new Z.
No defense from the Gov. Taizhou SAFEA advice me to return to EU, because Non-native cannot get WP in Jiangsu.
I'm sick of the Chinese 'screw you' possibilities! Ridiculous.

icnif77 -> You have to be smarter than them, in my case I clearly have the upper hand and the school knows this. I'm a good employee, I have been the employee of the month many times, but if they try to screw me they will regret it.
Pay the triads to find him and bring him to you. You must punish him!
