Good question Engteah. She is Chinese/British, but she actually identifies more with being Chinese.
In HK recently, she pointed out a group of European looking men to her mum, and said " Look mummy, those men look like daddy, daddy if different, he is not the same as us".
It's really up to her how she chooses to identify herself. Plenty of time for her to figure it out.

There was a guy who did this once. He moved children from families he thought racially/culturally inferior to families he thought superior. It didn't work out too well for him in the end.
I've seen some pretty crappy, negligent, abusive and downright evil Western parents.

The biggest problem with Chinese parenting is the parents not being present. A movement to force parents to take care of their children would be much more beneficial for the world.

Children do better with their own parents, if only to serve as examples of how NOT to turn out. Nobody in the world can provide unconditional love and care, apart from the handful of willing adoped parents, but they are rare.
Social programs can provide guidance in the right direction for children and parents, but taking children from their parents creates infinitely more problems than it solves. Public school is as far as it should go.
China does public schooling very badly, as I'm sure most expats will agree.
